VEI Power Distribution (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a joint venture company, 70% owned by Dato’ Ab Rahim Abu Bakar and 30% owned by VEI Power Distribution SpA, Italy and was incorporated in year 2001.

VEI Power Distribution SpA, Italy with 40 years experience in manufacturing of Medium Voltage Equipment i.e.; SF6 RMU, LBS (SF6/Air insulated), Pole Mounted LBS, 11kV Vacuum Circuit Breaker and Low Voltage Feeder Pillar.

Participation in VEI Power Distribution (M) Sdn. Bhd. is to ensure the successful of key objective to penetrate South East Asia and Middle East market.

The main objective of VEI Power Distribution SpA, Italy is to transfer the technology to the local company as to ensure the Malaysian Government policy adheres.

Dato’ Ab Rahim Abu Bakar with VEI Power Distribution (M) Sdn Bhd has been appointed as a vendor for Tenaga Nasional Berhad year 2004 and as vendor for Petronas year 2006.

VEI Power Distribution both Malaysia and Italy currently understudying latest modern technology of manufacturing beside developing new product range, which will be more competitive and accepted globally.
